Hey there, Rambler.
We’re Brandi and Ben — the humans behind Remote Ramblers.
A few years ago, we traded a fairly conventional life for something a little more uncertain, a lot more intentional, and infinitely more interesting.
Our story began in 2015 when we met while serving as Peace Corps Volunteers in a small village in southern Morocco. What started as a shared commitment to service quickly turned into a shared life built around curiosity, community, and the belief that the world is better when people choose connection over comfort.
We stayed in Morocco for several years, building friendships, learning from our neighbors, and falling in love with the richness of cultures that exist beyond our own.
Eventually, that curiosity turned into a question we couldn’t shake:
What would life look like if we designed it on purpose?
So we did something a little wild.
We moved back to the United States, bought an old school bus, and slowly transformed it into our tiny home on wheels — learning every skill the hard way along the journey.
Since then, we’ve been traveling full-time, following dirt roads, hidden trailheads, and the kinds of places that don’t always show up on the tourist map.
What Remote Ramblers Is Really About
Yes, we share travel.
But Remote Ramblers has always been about something bigger than that.
It’s about:
living a life that feels aligned with who you are
building community wherever you land
supporting small makers and ethical businesses
learning new skills even when you have no idea what you’re doing
and choosing curiosity over fear
We believe the best adventures rarely happen in perfect circumstances.
They happen when you say yes to trying.
Our Philosophy
We’re not interested in chasing highlight reels.
We care about the real stuff:
slow travel
meaningful conversations
hidden places
practical skills
and the people you meet along the way
We’ve learned that the most important part of any journey isn’t the destination.
It’s the people who show up beside you on the road.
Why We Share Our Journey
Remote Ramblers exists for anyone who has ever felt the quiet pull toward a different kind of life.
Not necessarily a bus.
Not necessarily travel.
Just something more intentional.
Through our videos, writing, and storytelling, we share the lessons we’ve learned while building a life on the road — the wins, the mistakes, the breakdowns, and the moments that make it all worth it.
Because if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this:
You don’t have to have everything figured out to start building the life you want.
You just have to take the first step.
Ramble On
