My Marrakech Suggestions
Hey there, Dorota!
https://www.booking.com/hotel/at/alina-39-s-favorite.en.html?aid=1782759&no_rooms=1&group_adults=1
I’m glad you asked for my help, because this is exactly what I will be doing in the future, except I will be focusing on remote places all over the world. Next week, I will actually be launching this website, but ssssshhhhhh, no one knows about it yet, which is why I can make a page just for you! :)
Anyhoo, I am glad you chose to come to Marrakech, you are absolutely going to love it! I came here from America for the first almost 7 years ago and I’ve been living here for 5 years now. There truly is just something magical about it!
Just so you know, none of this is sponsored or anything, these are just places I’ve found over the years and absolutely ADORE. You can either click the name, or the photo to go directly to the listing. I love using booking.com in Morocco because all of the riads are used to it and no bookings get accidentally overlooked or lost, plus, they price match with everyone.
I’ll divide the options into luxury, mid-range, and budget and tell you why I love each. Also, if you are staying 3 nights in Marrakech, I would stay in one place for the first two nights and then a different place the third night, just so you can mix it up and soak in more beauty. :)
All that said, here are my Marrakech picks:
Budget Option
Riad Dihya
Budget doesn’t usually look like this. It isn’t directly off the main square or in the souk, but it is very close. It also keeps you from having to navigate the main souk in the dark, if you decide to stay out late. The staff is insanely helpful and the riad provides breakfast. PLUS, there’s a nice rooftop pool, which you will still be thankful for in September! And all for under $40 USD!
Riad 117
This is a great bang for your buck! Beautiful raid, right in the heart of the old medina, with an awesome staff and a beautiful pool and breakfast included all for under $50 USD. If you like this one, make sure to book it early, because it will fill up!
Mid-Range Options
Riad Khol
This place is stunning and well priced for what they offer. Beautiful rooms, many with bathtubs, which feels awesome if you’ve been traveling for a bit, or spent the day walking around the medina. There is also a hamman with spa services and a wonderful breakfast buffet every morning. Even better, its only $80 USD.
Riad Jnan El Cadi
This beautiful riad is located right in the heart of great shopping. It also has lovely rooms with an awesome terrace and dipping pool. There is also a complimentary breakfast and a super friendly staff. All for $80 USD.
Luxury Options
Riad Palais Sebban
This riad is a little more on the expensive end, but definitely still an amazing deal. The location is AMAZING, as is the staff, decor, and food! The riad a few doors down from this one is 3X the price, with no real added advantage, in my opinion.
Ksar Kasbah & Spa
If you are really looking to splurge and heal that broken heart with the help of a sexy instagram photo or two, this is the place to do it. I mean, seriously, just look at it. THAT COULD BE YOU. It has an awesome location, a hamman with spa services, a restaurant, and a terrace with great views. This one fills up fast and is about $140-170 USD.
